FAQ’s

As one of the most popular brands recommended by eye doctors, current and would-be wearers raise some very valid questions to us from time to time.

We’ve tried to address those lingering thoughts below:

Q: Do I need a prescription to buy these lenses?

A: Absolutely. Your eye doctor must give you a prescription in order for you to purchase these lenses. Do not wear lenses without a prescription or if you have existing eye conditions like infections. If you experience any negative sensations like discomfort in your eyes, swelling or redness, you should cease use and consult your eye doctor.

Q: How many prescriptions are the prices based on?

A: One (1) prescription per client.

Q: Are the prices based on per eye or total?

A: Listed prices are total number of boxes needed for a set time period. So a 6-month supply means 6 months worth for both eyes.

Q: Can I wear Proclear lenses if I require a bifocal?

A: Yes! Proclear offers many options for people with different needs. One of these products is the Proclear Multifocal. This lens tackles the effects of eye dryness and presbyopia. It works by focusing light at near and far distances to the back of the eye giving you the best vision possible. Proclear also offers the multifocal toric which corrects the effects of both astigmatism, and presbyopia. See your eye care professional for more details.

Q: What is the difference in the Proclear Multifocal and the Proclear multifocal toric?

A: The Proclear multifocal is designed to treat the symptoms of dry eyes and presbyopia. This is the condition in which the eye loses ability to focus at close distances. The Proclear Multifocal lens helps correct the conditions of both presbyopia and astigmatism. This is the condition that can cause blurred vision due to irregular shape of the cornea, or the curvature of the lens of the eye.

Q: Who are the Proclear one day lenses designed for?

A: The Proclear one day lens is specifically designed for people who want all day comfort in a lens that never has to be cleaned, stored, or reapplied. Just follow the application instructions and enjoy 12 hour comfort and simply discard after use.

Q: What is Proclear EP?

A: Proclear EP is the only lens on the market today designed to help those who are just starting to have symptoms of presbyopia. The beginning stages and symptoms of presbyopia are generally having difficulty reading small print, and losing the ability to focus on objects near to you. The Proclear EP lens works to correct this issue before it interferes with daily activities.
